Community Services
The most important community service is counseling. From the one-on-one depression screening to workshops on “how and when to take a loved one to the doctor”, from smoking cessation classes or programs such as “women in menopause” to healthy starts for your baby to nutritional programs that are offered to young moms through the WIC program to back to school and jump start programs that promote immunizations before children enter school, We teach the concept of total child health!
 
HEC is an open door for the community. When any individual stops in, in need of help, we want to be their first choice as a resource.  The proud people in our community may find it difficult to ask for help.  Therefore, we provide it by treating them with dignity and respect.
